Job Overview

We are looking for a talented and detail\-oriented **3D Product Designer** with hands\-on experience in **SolidWorks** and **AutoCAD** to develop production\-ready product designs. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and technical documentation. This role focuses on designing products that are ready for manufacturing—not concept art, visualization, or prototyping alone.

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D CAD models using SolidWorks.
• Develop detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and assembly information.
• Convert concepts, sketches, and product requirements into production\-ready CAD designs.
• Design products while considering manufacturing feasibility, functionality, cost, and quality.
• Prepare assemblies, exploded views, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Coordinate with product managers, sourcing teams, and manufacturing partners to resolve design challenges.
• Modify and improve existing product designs based on testing, customer feedback, or production requirements.
• Maintain organized CAD files, engineering documents, and revision history.
• Ensure designs comply with engineering standards and manufacturing best practices.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in product design using SolidWorks.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Excellent understanding of engineering drawings, GD\&T, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Experience designing products for manufacturing rather than only concept development.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, sheet metal, machining, fabrication, die casting, extrusion, and CNC operations.
• Ability to create production\-ready CAD files and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with a strong engineering mindset who can independently develop high\-quality, production\-ready designs. The ideal applicant should understand manufacturing constraints, optimize designs for production, collaborate effectively with cross\-functional teams, and consistently deliver accurate technical documentation.

Pay: ₹20,000\.00 \- ₹100,000\.00 per month
