These terms govern your use of 3ranga — our AI-powered job search and matching platform. We've written them to be as clear as possible.

We never sell your data or share it for advertising

Employers may only use candidate data for that specific hire

1. Acceptance of Terms

Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using 3ranga (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must not use the Platform.

Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to all visitors, job seekers, employers, and any other users of the Platform, whether or not you have created an account.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Eligibility

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using 3ranga, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Accurate information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or posting a job. Providing false information is grounds for immediate termination of your account.

Authorised use

If you are using the Platform on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

3. User Accounts

Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@3ranga.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

One account per person

Each individual or organisation may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, gain unfair advantage, or abuse platform features is prohibited.

Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to other users or the Platform.

4. Job Seekers

Resume data

By uploading a resume, you grant 3ranga a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, parse, and store your resume data solely to provide matching and personalisation services on the Platform. You retain full ownership of your resume.

AI-powered matching

Your resume data may be sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate AI match scores against job descriptions. This processing is covered under Anthropic's API terms and is used only to improve your job search results.

Accuracy of your profile

You are responsible for ensuring your profile and resume accurately represent your qualifications. Misrepresenting your experience or credentials may result in account suspension.

Applying to jobs

When you apply to a job through a third-party link, your application is handled entirely by that employer's own systems. 3ranga is not a party to any employment contract or hiring decision.

5. Employers

Job posting accuracy

Employers must post accurate, truthful, and current job listings. Misleading titles, fabricated salary ranges, or listings for non-existent roles are prohibited and will result in immediate removal.

Equal opportunity

Job postings must comply with applicable employment laws, including anti-discrimination laws. You must not advertise roles in a manner that discriminates on the basis of age, gender, religion, caste, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Candidate data

Access to candidate applications and profile data is granted solely for the purpose of evaluating candidates for the specific role advertised. You may not use candidate data for any other purpose, share it with third parties, or retain it beyond the hiring process.

Fees

Access to the employer portal is currently free during the beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future and will give existing employers at least 30 days' notice before doing so.

6. Prohibited Uses

Scraping and automated access

You may not use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or any automated means to access or extract data from the Platform without our express written permission.

Spam and unsolicited contact

You may not use contact information obtained through the Platform to send unsolicited commercial messages, spam, or any communication unrelated to an active hiring process.

Harmful or illegal content

You may not post or transmit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

Platform integrity

You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, interfere with its security, reverse-engineer its code, or use it in any way that disrupts other users' experience.

7. Intellectual Property

Our content

The 3ranga name, logo, website design, code, and all content produced by us are the intellectual property of 3ranga and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (including your resume and job listings). By submitting content, you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, process, and use it solely for operating the Platform.

Feedback

If you submit suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Platform, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

8. Third-Party Services

External job links

Many job listings link to external employer websites or application portals. 3ranga is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of those sites, and has no control over their hiring processes.

AI services

We use Anthropic's Claude to power AI matching. Anthropic operates independently and under its own terms of service. We are not responsible for the output, accuracy, or availability of AI-generated content.

Google sign-in

Authentication is handled via Google OAuth. Your use of Google's sign-in service is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

No employment guarantee

3ranga is a discovery and matching platform. We do not guarantee that using our Platform will result in employment, interviews, or any particular outcome. Hiring decisions are made solely by employers.

Platform availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Accuracy of listings

Job listings are aggregated from third-party sources and posted by employers. We do not verify the accuracy of individual listings. Always conduct independent due diligence before applying.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 3ranga shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including lost profits, lost data, or missed opportunities.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Informal resolution first

Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first contact us at support@3ranga.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve issues within 30 days.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
