Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and highly strategic **Academic Head** to take the helm of our PPP and ITI colleges. In this leadership role, you will oversee the complete academic, operational, and administrative functioning of these institutions. You will be the driving force behind academic excellence, regulatory compliance, faculty development, and the overall growth of our educational centers. The ideal candidate is an institutional builder with a deep understanding of India's vocational education landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• *1\. Academic \& Institutional Leadership**

• Provide strategic direction and overall leadership for all Venture Skill India PPP and ITI colleges.
• Design, implement, and monitor academic calendars, training methodologies, and curriculum delivery to ensure industry relevance.
• Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance frameworks for teaching, workshops, and practical training.

• *2\. Operational \& Administrative Management**

• Oversee the day\-to\-day operations of all campuses, ensuring optimal resource utilization and infrastructure maintenance.
• Streamline administrative processes, admissions, and student life services across all institutions.
• Monitor institutional budgets, operational expenditures, and financial performance.

• *3\. Regulatory Compliance \& Government Liaison**

• Ensure all institutions strictly adhere to NCVT/SCVT, DGT guidelines, and other relevant government frameworks.
• Manage end\-to\-end documentation, inspections, and affiliations required for ITIs and PPP skill centers.
• Act as the primary liaison between Venture Skill India and relevant government nodal agencies, skill missions, and accreditation bodies.

• *4\. Team Building \& Faculty Mentorship**

• Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and evaluation of Principals, HODs, Lecturers, and Workshop Instructors.
• Design ongoing faculty development programs to upgrade the pedagogical and technical skills of the teaching staff.
• Foster a collaborative, high\-performance culture among the academic and administrative teams.

• *5\. Industry Integration \& Placements**

• Develop robust partnerships with local and national industries to facilitate hands\-on training, apprenticeships, and guest lectures.
• Collaborate with the placement cell to maximize employment opportunities for graduating trainees.

Qualifications \& Experience

• **Education:** Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Education, or a related discipline. (A Ph.D. is highly advantageous).
• **Experience:** Minimum 3\-4 years of experience in the education or skill development sector, with at least 5 years in a senior administrative role (e.g., Principal, Director, or Academic Head) managing ITIs, polytechnics, or vocational colleges.
• **Domain Knowledge:** Deep understanding of the DGT ecosystem, skill development frameworks (NSQF), and the operational dynamics of PPP models.

• Exceptional leadership and crisis\-management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven track record of managing large teams and multi\-campus operations.
• High proficiency in stakeholder management and government liaisoning.
