Job Description: Accessibility Business Analyst

We are seeking a proactive Business Analyst to join our Scoping Team.
+ Work with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for executing scoping activities.
+ Analyze assessment requirements to ensure comprehensive coverage in assessment scopes.
+ Define and refine the scope of assessments, ensuring alignment with agreed scoping guidelines.
+ Identify potential risks and dependencies related to assessment, and highlight them during the scoping step.
+ Develop detailed scoping documents, including details such as test units to assess,LOE, environment, credentials, asset types (and more) as per Deque’s methodologies for different standard based assessments.
+ Prepare other support documents to help facilitate smoother execution of sales process and actual assessment work (For example, Screenshot document, Scope summary, etc).
+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including sales executives, engagement managers, and technical experts, to ensure a shared understanding of assessment scope.
+ Facilitate discussion to gather input and validate scope assumptions and test units added in scope of work.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for the execution team, providing clarity and resolving any questions related to the scope.
+ Maintain knowledge of the assessments scope done in the past to ensure alignment and consistency across all project phases.
+ Evaluate existing scoping processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
+ Develop and maintain templates, guidelines, and best practices for scoping activities.
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ 2\+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on digital accessibility.
+ Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and document complex technical requirements.
+ Familiarity with accessibility testing tools, techniques, and standards.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non\-technical stakeholders.
+ Ability to adapt and pivot strategies for information gathering when full access to stakeholders is not available.
+ Detail\-oriented with the ability to consider the bigger picture and make wise decisions in complex situations.
+ Understanding of development practices like HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a must.
+ Familiarity with general testing methodologies (manual and automated)
+ Ability to assess and document platform complexity across a variety of devices and environments (desktop, mobile, kiosks, etc.).
+ Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG, EN 301 549, Section 508, and others.
+ Basic understanding of web and mobile application development processes is a plus.
