Job Description

An Account Executive (Accounts \& Billing) to manage a company's daily financial transactions oversee billing, sales/purchase entries, accounts payable/receivable, and general bookkeeping. Primary objective is to maintain accurate financial records and ensure smooth compliance.

  • *Core Responsibilities**
  • *1\. Billing \& Sales Management**
  • Generate and issue accurate sales invoices and bills to customers based on contractual agreements or dispatch details.
  • Maintain the Sales Register and track all generated bills.
  • Ensure accurate calculations of tax components like GST, HSN summaries, and process e\-way bills or e\-invoices where applicable.
  • Handle and resolve any customer billing queries or discrepancies promptly.
  • *2\. Purchase \& Vendor Management**
  • Verify purchase orders (POs) against vendor invoices and delivery receipts.
  • Record all inward supplies and maintain the Purchase Register.
  • Process vendor payments (e.g., via NEFT, RTGS) and verify logistics or transport bills.
  • Manage accounts payable, monitor credit periods, and prepare vendor ledger reconciliations.
  • *3\. General Accounting \& Other Tasks**
  • Record daily transactions (cash, bank, and journal entries) into accounting software like Tally or ERP.
  • Prepare and track accounts receivable, following up on overdue client balances.
  • Perform periodic bank reconciliations to match company books with actual bank statements.
  • Manage statutory compliance tasks by tracking and depositing TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and filing monthly/quarterly GST returns.
  • Maintain petty cash records, assist in payroll processing, and generate routine MIS and ageing reports for management.
  • *Qualifications \& Skills**
  • **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), BBA (Finance), or a Master's degree in Commerce/Finance.
  • **Software Proficiency:** Hands\-on experience with Tally Prime/ERP, proficiency in MS Excel, and basic familiarity with CRM software.
  • **Key Skills:** High attention to detail, strong numerical and analytical abilities, negotiation skills, and clear vendor/customer communication.

Pay: ₹15,000\.00 \- ₹25,000\.00 per month
