About the Opportunity
As an Account Executive at VBSB \& Associates, you will play a key role in managing accounting operations and statutory compliance for MNC and corporate clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluate, design, and implement accounting systems and processes to streamline financial operations
- Prepare and present accurate monthly financial reports, including:
- Profit \& Loss Statements
- Balance Sheets
- Cash Flow Statements
- Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support management and strategic decision\-making
- Perform and oversee regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Maintain and control master data of the general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate entries
- Ensure compliance with GST and Income Tax regulations, including preparation and filing of returns
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve accounting, reconciliation, and compliance matters
- Support process improvements and documentation for efficient financial reporting
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum 1\-2 years of relevant experience, including experience under a Chartered Accountancy Firm
- Articleship or exposure to CA firm working environment preferred
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Hands\-on experience with Tally ERP 9
- Good understanding of GST and Income Tax laws and compliances
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and comfort with digital tools such as ChatGPT
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time\-management abilities
- Leadership qualities with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
