Job Description – Account Manager (SAP FICO / Finance)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail\-oriented Account Manager with 6–7 years of experience in Finance and Accounting. The ideal candidate must have hands\-on working experience in SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and strong knowledge of Core Accounting principles and financial operations.

The candidate should be capable of independently managing day\-to\-day accounting operations, financial reporting, general ledger activities, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, GST, TDS, and month\-end/year\-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• *1\. Core Accounting \& Finance**

• Manage day\-to\-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
• Maintain General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Handle journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliation and vendor/customer account reconciliation.
• Manage fixed assets accounting and depreciation.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts.
• Handle month\-end and year\-end closing activities.

• *2\. SAP FI / Finance**

• Hands\-on working experience in SAP FI/FICO modules.
• Manage accounting transactions through SAP.
• Experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable in SAP.
• Knowledge of SAP FI configuration and financial reporting will be an added advantage.
• Generate financial reports and MIS reports through SAP.
• Perform reconciliation and monitor accounting entries in SAP.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data in SAP.

• *3\. Taxation \& Compliance**

• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• GST reconciliation and return\-related documentation.
• TDS calculation, deduction, and reconciliation.
• Support statutory audits and internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.

• *4\. Financial Reporting \& MIS**

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Prepare Profit \& Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
• Monitor expenses, revenue, and financial transactions.
• Prepare MIS reports and provide financial insights to management.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
• M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter will be an added advantage.
• 6–7 years of relevant experience in Finance \& Accounts.
• Mandatory hands\-on experience in SAP FI/FICO.
• Strong understanding of Core Accounting concepts.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial reconciliation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem\-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with practical experience in both SAP Finance and Core Accounting.
• Ability to independently handle accounting operations.
• Experience in month\-end closing and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting entries, ledger reconciliation, and financial statements.

• *Important:** Candidates must have practical working experience in SAP FI/FICO along with strong Core Accounting knowledge. Candidates having only SAP knowledge without practical accounting experience will not be preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000\.00 \- ₹70,000\.00 per month
