About the Role

The Workfolk is hiring on behalf of a reputed organization engaged in mechanical maintenance contracting for Tata Steel. The organization operates across multiple locations, including Jamshedpur, Kalinganagar and Angul.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, taxation, GST, TDS, payroll taxation, budgeting and financial management. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling accounting operations and assisting in financial planning and audit\-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

\- Handle the preparation, maintenance and monitoring of day\-to\-day accounting activities.

\- Manage finalisation of accounts and preparation of annual financial statements.

\- Prepare tax computations, TDS returns, GST returns, advance tax estimates and payroll tax calculations.

\- Process receipts and payments of parties, vendors and associates while maintaining accurate records.

\- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports for management based on financial statements.

\- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, monthly cash flow statements and balance sheets.

\- Maintain and update the fixed assets register and conduct annual physical verification of assets.

\- Coordinate and assist statutory and internal auditors during audit activities.
