Job Description

  • *Accountant (Payroll)**

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities Accounting

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies.
  • Record daily accounting transactions and maintain the general ledger.
  • Perform bank, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Assist with month\-end and year\-end closing activities.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Support external and internal audits by providing the required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT, and other statutory requirements.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable when required.

Payroll

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and within the scheduled timelines.
  • Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, allowances, deductions, and reimbursements.
  • Prepare payroll journals and reconcile payroll\-related accounts.
  • Coordinate with the HR department regarding employee onboarding, exits, salary revisions, and payroll updates.
  • Maintain payroll records while ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA inter, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years handling UAE payroll.
  • Experience in month\-end closing, financial reporting, and payroll accounting.
  • Hands\-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Skills \& Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT and statutory compliance.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem\-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial and payroll information.

Pay: ₹20,000\.17 \- ₹40,000\.24 per month
