Accountant (Pharmaceutical)

• *PHARMACEUTICAL ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY**

We are looking for an Accountant with prior hands\-on accounting experience in a pharmaceutical company. Applicants must have worked in an accounts role; pharmaceutical sales or medical representative experience alone does not meet this requirement.

The candidate should have practical experience in pharmaceutical sales and purchase accounting, customer and vendor ledger reconciliation, invoicing, outstanding payment tracking and GST\-related accounting.

Required Experience and Skills

• Previous experience handling accounts in a pharmaceutical company.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical billing, credit/debit notes, sales returns and scheme\-related adjustments.
• Experience reconciling distributor/customer accounts and following up on outstanding balances.
• Working knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
• Ability to prepare GST\-related data and coordinate with the CA or tax consultant.
