About the Role

Shubhaprada, a saree showroom in Mysuru, is looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant to manage day\-to\-day accounts, maintain accurate financial records, and coordinate with our external auditor for accounting, taxation, and compliance\-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounts, books of accounts, and financial records.
• Handle sales and purchase entries, expense tracking, and cash and bank transactions.
• Manage bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and outstanding payments.
• Maintain GST records and assist with GST returns and other applicable tax compliances.
• Coordinate with the external auditor and provide the required statements, invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and year\-end accounts.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy of all accounting records.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and support management with accounting information.

Requirements

• B.Com or equivalent qualification in Commerce/Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good working knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and ledger management.
• Experience coordinating with Chartered Accountants or external auditors.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organisational skills.
• Retail or showroom accounting experience will be an added advantage.
