Galaxy Diamonds is a Kerala\-based diamond jewellery manufacturer engaged in both export and import.

• *About the Role**

Lead financial operations — bookkeeping, fund flow, statutory compliance, costing, and MIS reporting — with specific ownership of gold\-weight P\&L and hedging to manage bullion price risk.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• *Gold\-Weight P\&L \& Hedging**

• Track and reconcile gold\-weight P\&L — gold issued vs. recovered vs. dust/scrap — to protect margins against price volatility
• Design and monitor gold price hedging strategies (forward booking, metal/gold loans, bullion positions) with Purchase and Management

• *Accounting, Compliance \& Audit**

• Ensure accurate daily postings and timely monthly book closure
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, PF \& ESI filings; coordinate statutory and internal audits
• Manage export\-related documentation and compliance — LC, shipping bills, export invoicing, FEMA/GST

• *Cash, Gold \& Fund Management**

• Monitor receivables/payables and ageing; ensure timely billing, invoicing, and vendor payments
• Maintain fund\-flow visibility, daily cash, bank \& gold\-weight reconciliation, and banking relationships

• *Budgeting, Costing \& Reporting**

• Prepare annual budgets and enforce budgetary control across departments
• Validate order\-wise costing (gold, diamond, labour) and track budget variances
• Deliver P\&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and MIS reports (DSR, MOS, AR/AP) on schedule

• *Team Leadership**

• Supervise the accounts team and drive SOP/ERP adoption across finance

• MIS Reporting, Budgeting \& Cost Control — Advanced/Proficient
• ERP/Tally/Excel, Team Leadership, and Communication (English, Malayalam \& Hindi (added advantage))

• *Qualifications**

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting; CA (Inter)/CMA/ICWA preferred
• 7\+ years in accounts \& finance, including prior experience in a managerial/senior managerial role — mandatory
• Manufacturing industry background — mandatory; exposure to gold/bullion, jewellery, or precious\-metals accounting — preferred

Pay: ₹40,000\.00 \- ₹100,000\.00 per month
