Accounts Manager

\-Oversee daily accounting functions, ledger maintenance, and project\-wise cost tracking for PEB and structural steel EPC projects.

\- Manage client Running Account (RA) billing, milestone certifications, subcontractor invoice approvals, and raw material vendor reconciliations.

\- Ensure complete statutory tax compliance, including GST returns, TDS deductions, advance tax computations, and annual filings.

\- Formulate monthly MIS reports, balance sheets, cash flow forecasts, and project profitability variance analyses for executive management.

\- Handle banking operations, working capital facilities, and trade finance instruments such as Bank Guarantees (BG) and Letters of Credit (LC).

\- Coordinate and facilitate internal, statutory, and tax audits to ensure regulatory adherence and clean compliance records.**Requirements**Skills\*\*Technical \& Commercial Skills\*\*

\* \*\*EPC \& Project Cost Accounting:\*\* Extensive experience in project\-based accounting, job costing, and WIP (Work\-in\-Progress) valuation specifically within the PEB, structural steel fabrication, or industrial infrastructure EPC sectors.

\* \*\*Contractual Billing \& Reconciliations:\*\* Proven expertise in managing the full billing lifecycle, including Running Account (RA) bills, client milestone certifications, Mobilization Advances, retention funds, and subcontractor debit/credit reconciliations.

\* \*\*Taxation \& Statutory Compliance:\*\* In\-depth knowledge of Indian statutory frameworks, including hands\-on experience with GST compliance (filings, e\-Invoicing, e\-Way bills, and 2B/ITC reconciliations), TDS/TCS, advance tax, and site\-level labor compliances (PF/ESIC).

\* \*\*Trade Finance \& Banking:\*\* Demonstrated capability in managing working capital facilities, Cash Credit (CC) limits, Letters of Credit (LCs), and Bank Guarantees (Performance and Advance Payment BGs).

\* \*\*Inventory \& Procurement Accounting:\*\* Solid understanding of raw material accounting (steel plates, sections, coils, consumables), freight/logistics costs, scrap realization, and vendor balance reconciliations.

\* \*\*Financial Reporting \& MIS:\*\* Strong ability to prepare monthly project profitability reports, variance analyses (budgeted vs. actuals), site cash flow projections, and coordinate internal, statutory, and tax audits.

\* \*\*Software \& Systems Proficiency:\*\* Advanced, hands\-on command of Tally Prime, EPC\-focused ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, and financial modeling).

\*\*Soft Skills \& Leadership\*\*

\* \*\*Cross\-Functional Collaboration:\*\* Ability to interface seamlessly across head office and site teams, including project managers, procurement, planning, and executive management.

\* \*\*Analytical \& Commercial Acumen:\*\* High\-level problem\-solving and analytical skills to detect budget variances, optimize project cash flows, and manage financial risks proactively.

\* \*\*Negotiation \& Vendor Management:\*\* Strong interpersonal skills to resolve billing disputes, negotiate payment terms with suppliers/subcontractors, and coordinate effectively with banking partners.

\* \*\*Leadership \& People Management:\*\* Experience in leading, mentoring, and supervising corporate and site\-level accounts personnel to ensure reporting accuracy and timeliness.
