Job Summary
The Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the organization's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, statutory compliance, tax filing, payroll processing, budgeting, and financial reporting. The role also involves leading the accounts team, maintaining internal controls, and supporting management in financial decision\-making.
Key Roles \& Responsibilities
1\. Financial Accounting
\- Maintain books of accounts and the general ledger.
\- Record and verify all financial transactions.
\- Prepare journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, and financial statements.
\- Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
2\. Accounts Payable
\- Verify vendor invoices and process payments.
\- Maintain supplier accounts and reconcile balances.
\- Monitor outstanding payables.
\- Process employee reimbursements and advances.
3\. Accounts Receivable
\- Raise customer invoices.
\- Track collections and outstanding receivables.
\- Follow up with customers for overdue payments.
\- Reconcile customer accounts.
4\. Bank \& Cash Management
\- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
\- Monitor cash flow and fund availability.
\- Manage petty cash and banking transactions.
\- Prepare cash flow reports.
5\. GST Compliance
\- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR\-1, GSTR\-3B, GSTR\-9, etc.).
\- Reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC).
\- Ensure timely GST payments.
\- Respond to GST notices and audits.
6\. TDS \& Income Tax
\- Deduct TDS as per Income Tax rules.
\- File TDS returns.
\- Issue Form 16 and Form 16A.
\- Reconcile tax payments with government records.
7\. Statutory Compliance
\- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, and other statutory requirements.
\- Maintain statutory registers and records.
8\. Financial Reporting
\- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
\- Prepare Profit \& Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
\- Present financial analysis to management.
9\. Budgeting \& Cost Control
\- Prepare annual budgets.
\- Monitor departmental expenses.
\- Analyze variances between budget and actual expenses.
\- Recommend cost\-saving measures.
10\. Audit Coordination
\- Coordinate internal and statutory audits.
\- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.
\- Resolve audit observations.
11\. Team Management
\- Supervise and guide the accounts team.
\- Allocate work and monitor performance.
\- Train team members on accounting procedures and compliance.
Pay: ₹25,000\.00 \- ₹30,000\.00 per month
