Job Summary
MyOfficeSpace is seeking a highly motivated and detail\-oriented **Senior Accounts Executive** to independently manage the company's end\-to\-end accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in handling complete accounting functions, statutory compliance, taxation, vendor management, and financial reporting with minimal supervision.
This role requires a self\-driven professional capable of taking ownership of the entire accounts function while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnd\-to\-End Accounting
- Manage complete accounting activities from transaction recording to finalization of accounts.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Handle journal entries, ledger scrutiny, account reconciliations, and month\-end/year\-end closing processes.
- Prepare Profit \& Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and financial reports.
Accounts Payable \& Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Monitor customer receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Perform vendor and customer account reconciliations regularly.
- Manage payment schedules and cash flow requirements.
Banking \& Reconciliation
- Handle daily banking transactions and fund management.
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate with banks for account\-related matters and documentation.
Taxation \& Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, return filing, and reconciliations.
- Support audits and statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, and consultants as required.
Payroll \& Employee Reimbursements
- Process payroll\-related accounting entries.
- Verify employee reimbursements and maintain related records.
- Ensure statutory deductions and compliance.
Financial Reporting \& MIS
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and management reports.
- Analyze expenses, revenue, and financial performance.
- Assist management in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Provide financial insights for business decision\-making.
Documentation \& Audit Support
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
- Assist during internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, MBA Finance, or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
- Experience in independently handling complete accounts functions.
Required Skills
- End\-to\-end accounting and bookkeeping.
- GST and TDS compliance.
- Bank reconciliation and account finalization.
- Accounts payable and receivable management.
- Financial reporting and MIS preparation.
- Strong knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Reporting, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of accounts operations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem\-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Capable of independently managing the entire accounts department.
- Experience working in SMEs, startups, coworking, real estate, facility management, or service\-based industries will be an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time\-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
