AGM – Plant Operations (Crusher, RMC & Concrete Block Factory)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result\-oriented Assistant General Manager (AGM) to oversee the overall operations of our Crusher, Ready\-Mix Concrete (RMC) plants, and Concrete Block Factory. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, operational efficiency, quality control, maintenance coordination, cost management, safety compliance, and team leadership to achieve production and business targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day\-to\-day operations of crusher units, RMC plants, and concrete block manufacturing facilities.
• Plan and monitor production, dispatch, material consumption, and operational targets.
• Ensure product quality, consistency, and adherence to applicable industry standards.
• Monitor raw material procurement, stock levels, wastage, and inventory management.
• Control operational costs, improve productivity, and optimize resource utilization.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and breakdown management of plant machinery, equipment, and vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Lead plant managers, production teams, maintenance personnel, quality teams, and other operational staff.
• Monitor plant performance, production reports, equipment downtime, and key operational KPIs.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Purchase, Accounts, HR, and Logistics teams for smooth operations.
• Resolve operational issues, customer complaints, and production or dispatch delays.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce wastage, and improve profitability.
• Prepare regular operational reports and present performance updates to senior management.
• Ensure timely execution of customer orders while maintaining quality and delivery commitments.

Qualifications \& Experience

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant engineering discipline.
• 10–15 years of experience in industrial operations, preferably in RMC, crusher, aggregates, or concrete block manufacturing.
• Prior experience managing multiple plants or production units is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, plant maintenance, quality control, cost management, and industrial safety.
