- *Position Overview**
The AI \& Automation Strategist will drive the implementation of artificial intelligence and marketing automation technologies across our growing retirement community's marketing function. This is a specialized strategic role focused on leveraging AI, machine learning, and automation to enhance lead generation, personalization, campaign efficiency, and customer experience. The ideal candidate will translate complex AI capabilities into actionable marketing strategies that improve conversion rates, reduce manual workload, and deliver measurable ROI. This role requires both technical understanding of AI platforms and strategic marketing expertise to identify high\-impact automation opportunities and build the business case for AI investment. As our community rapidly expands, this position will be critical in scaling marketing operations and maintaining personalization across a growing prospect and resident base.
- *Reports to: Marketing \& sales manager**
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute AI \& automation strategy aligned with overall marketing and business objectives, including ROI targets and efficiency gains
- Identify high\-impact automation opportunities in lead generation, nurturing, scoring, and conversion processes to reduce manual workload and improve efficiency
- Implement and optimize marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, etc.) for long\-cycle senior living sales requiring 20\-27 touchpoints
- Design AI\-powered lead scoring and qualification models that predict prospect readiness and optimize sales team allocation
- Build personalized nurturing campaigns that leverage AI for dynamic content, behavioral triggers, and predictive timing across multi\-channel touchpoints
- Utilize AI analytics tools to analyze customer journey data, identify conversion barriers, and recommend optimization strategies
- Implement chatbots and conversational AI for initial prospect engagement, qualification, and tour scheduling to improve lead capture
- Develop prompt engineering strategies and ChatGPT/generative AI integration for content creation, email copy optimization, and campaign ideation
- Monitor and optimize AI\-driven paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) using predictive analytics and algorithmic bidding
- Build predictive models for demand forecasting and market opportunity identification to inform marketing investment decisions
- Establish AI governance framework ensuring ethical data use, brand safety, compliance with data privacy regulations, and hallucination control
- Create dashboards and reporting frameworks that track automation ROI, cost per lead trends, and campaign effectiveness metrics
- Lead A/B testing initiatives on AI\-powered elements (subject lines, send times, content variations) to continuously optimize performance
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and recommend new tools/platforms for marketing stack enhancement
- *Required Qualifications**
Education \& Experience
- Master’s/Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
- 0\-1 years of experience in marketing automation, AI marketing, data analytics, or digital marketing with hands\-on AI implementation
- Demonstrated expertise implementing marketing automation platforms and building automated workflows
- Proven ability to build and optimize AI\-driven campaigns with measurable business impact (conversion lift, lead volume, cost reduction)
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, predictive analytics, and data\-driven decision making
- Experience with marketing analytics tools and ability to translate data into actionable insights
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal) with excellent technical writing and documentation skills
- Conversational proficiency in Malayalam is preferred but not mandatory

- AI\-powered chatbots and conversational marketing platforms
- Natural Language Processing (NLP) for sentiment analysis and content optimization
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and their marketing applications
- Data Analytics \& Visualization Tools (Advanced Proficiency Required):
- Google Analytics and GA4 for website behavior, conversion tracking, and attribution modeling
- Data visualization platforms: Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Looker
- SQL basics for querying marketing databases and extracting insights
- Excel/Google Sheets for advanced data analysis and scenario modeling
- Marketing mix modeling and incrementality testing tools
- Dashboard creation for real\-time campaign performance monitoring
- Digital Advertising Platforms with AI Capabilities:
- Google Ads with Smart Bidding and AI optimization features
- Facebook/Meta Ads with algorithmic optimization and lookalike audiences
- LinkedIn Ads for reaching adult children of seniors
- Programmatic advertising platforms
- Understanding of AI\-driven audience segmentation and targeting
- Emerging AI \& GEO Tools (Growing Importance):
- Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) for AI\-powered search (Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, etc.)
- Voice search optimization tools
- Content optimization for AI\-powered recommendations
- AI\-powered SEO tools for keyword research and content strategy
- Experimentation and multivariate testing platforms
- Data Privacy \& Compliance Tools:
- Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and data privacy regulations in healthcare/senior living
- Data governance and compliance tools
- Customer data platform (CDP) platforms for ethical data management
- *Preferred Experience**
- Hands\-on implementation of AI in marketing campaigns with documented case studies or results
- Python or R programming experience for data analysis and model development
- Experience building custom AI solutions or working with data scientists
- Certification in digital marketing, Google Analytics, or AI/ML (Google Cloud AI Certificate, Coursera AI certifications)
- Experience with multi\-touch attribution modeling
- Exposure to advanced analytics like cohort analysis, predictive churn modeling
- Prior experience scaling marketing operations for high\-growth organizations
