AI&E - SM - Guidewire

As an Associate Vice President / Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for overall technical delivery as part of large\-scale software solutions at enterprise level. You will lead functional and technical teams on the project located across shores guiding and mentoring junior team members and collaborating to understand the functional requirements. You will respond to new sales or proposals and support end\-to\-end delivery of the project along with estimations and planning.

You will be responsible for managing the design, development, and deployment of large\-scale system implementations at an enterprise level. These applications would provide you an exposure to the most widely used platforms across the Insurance domain like Guidewire and Majesco. You will be responsible for independently managing the team and guiding team members at different levels through their career path, work through technical leads across shores to manage implementation of the functional requirements and implement them on platforms like Guidewire and Majesco. You will own the end\-to\-end delivery of the project from estimations, planning, and execution. You would also be responsible for managing the status and end to end delivery of the final product.

As an Associate Vice President / Senior Manager on the AI \& Engineering team, you will be responsible for overall technical delivery across large\-scale enterprise software implementations.

• Manage discussions with business and onshore counterparts and help technical leads define architecture and design using design patterns
• Manage teams to develop solutions following established technical design, application development standards, and quality processes
• Manage project execution by defining work\-breakdown structure in accordance with the master project plan and tracking progress
• Lead overall technical delivery, documentation efforts, risk escalation, status reporting, and time\-bound delivery as per project plan
• Guide and mentor junior resources, act as a bridge across teams in the engagement, and respond to proposals with estimations

• *Qualifications**

Required

• B.E./B. Tech/MBA degree or equivalent from accredited university
• 15\-20 years of experience in information technology, including Guidewire experience
• Hands\-on technical experience implementing large\-scale enterprise custom development projects, including 5\-8 years of experience in insurance domain implementations on different platforms
• 3\-4 years of experience leading multi\-member teams
• Experience managing and architecting large\-scale enterprise software development projects, including resource and time estimations
• Experience working with insurance platforms including Guidewire, Majesco, or Duck Creek
• Ability to travel 40\-45%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

• Guidewire Ace Certified
• Experience working on Agile development teams using Scrum or Kanban
• Experience delivering customer\-facing products
• Experience improving and documenting standard operating procedures
• Experience running teams across implement and operate engagements
• Experience driving end\-to\-end pursuits and managing client expectations
