AI Engineer (Chatbots & AI Agents)

Build and ship LLM\-powered chatbots and AI agents for Mindrops and our clients: connect them to real business systems, ground them in client data with retrieval (RAG), and make them reliable in production, working alongside our senior engineers.

• *What you’ll bring**
• --------------------

• 1–3 years of hands\-on software development in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Comfortable building and consuming REST APIs, and working with JSON, Git and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Has built at least one working chatbot or AI agent on an LLM API (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or similar), at work, freelance or as a serious personal project.
• Good grasp of prompt engineering, tool/function calling and retrieval\-augmented generation (RAG): embeddings, vector search and chunking.
• Can debug a bot that gives wrong answers, explain why it happened, and write test cases to keep it fixed.
• Deploy bots to websites, WhatsApp, Slack and Microsoft Teams, and integrate them with client APIs and business tools.
• Nice to have: LangChain/LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK or CrewAI; vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, Qdrant or Chroma; MCP.
• Nice to have: bot platforms (Dialogflow, Rasa, Botpress, Voiceflow), voice bots (speech\-to\-text and text\-to\-speech), Docker and cloud deployment, and React for chat interfaces.
• Clear written English, ownership of your work and genuine curiosity about a field that changes every month.
• A GitHub link, demo or short write\-up of a bot or agent you have built: what it did, the stack, and a problem you solved along the way.
