AI Engineer – Generative Agentic Platforms (Python)

• *About the Role**

McLaren Strategic Solutions is looking for an AI Engineer to build intelligent, autonomous agents and integrate LLMs with tools, APIs and enterprise systems. If you enjoy turning GenAI ideas into reliable, production\-grade software, this role is for you.

• *What You’ll Do**

• Design, build and deploy autonomous or semi\-autonomous agents using platforms like Agno, CrewAI, LangGraph, AutoGen or similar
• Create and orchestrate agent workflows that combine LLMs, APIs, memory, tools and decision\-making logic
• Develop custom tools and components for agent frameworks in Python
• Build scalable backend systems and services, integrating AI components into enterprise\-grade systems
• Work closely with product and data teams to define requirements and validate AI\-driven functionality
• Optimize the performance, reliability and cost of GenAI workloads and APIs
• Keep up with the latest developments in GenAI and agentic AI

• *What You’ll Need**

• 3\+ years of Experience
• Hands\-on experience with agentic AI platforms such as Agno, CrewAI, LangGraph, AutoGen or similar
• Strong Python skills, particularly in AI/ML, automation and integration
• Proficiency in at least one of Java, C\+\+ or C\# for enterprise software and backend APIs
• Understanding of LLM ecosystems (OpenAI, Claude, Mistral, etc.), prompt engineering and tool augmentation

• *Nice to Have**

• Experience with API integration, vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone) and knowledge graphs
• Familiarity with Docker, Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud and AI/ML skills
