### **Description and Requirements**

Lenovo is looking for a seasoned Technical Project Manager to be based in Mumbai, India, joining its Global AICDS team. The role will combine complex technical delivery leadership with bid management support, ensuring that pre\-sales commitments, commercial assumptions, delivery risks, and implementation plans are clearly understood, validated, and transitioned into executable customer projects.
This role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of large\-scale, complex AI infrastructure deployments, including liquid\-cooled GPU clusters, accelerated compute environments, AI\-ready data centre platforms, and integrated infrastructure solutions for some of Lenovo’s most strategic global customers.
- *Responsibilities:**
The AICDS Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing one or more concurrent projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budget, and resource allocations. Projects typically range from three months to several years in duration and will involve coordination across internal teams and third\-party partners.
The Technical Project Manager applies a comprehensive range of project management methodologies and best practices to effectively plan, execute, monitor, and close projects. This includes managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful project outcomes aligned with business and customer objectives.
- *Typical Activities include:**
- Lead end\-to\-end delivery of AI infrastructure projects, covering hardware manufacturing, shipment tracking, onsite logistics, installation, GPU cluster deployment, integration, benchmarking, validation, and final customer acceptance
- Ensure alignment to the Statement of Work (SOW), validating scope, deliverables, and overall delivery model
- Support bid management activities by reviewing customer requirements, delivery assumptions, risks, dependencies, resourcing needs, implementation timelines, and operational readiness before proposal submission
- Work closely with sales, solution architects, commercial teams, procurement, legal, and delivery stakeholders to ensure bid responses are realistic, deliverable, commercially aligned, and supported by appropriate project governance
- Contribute to bid reviews, customer workshops, proposal inputs, delivery schedules, risk registers, and transition plans to ensure a smooth handover from opportunity pursuit into active project delivery
- Manage multi\-vendor coordination and governance across internal teams, customers, and third\-party partners
- Establish and maintain project governance, including stakeholder engagement, communication plans, meeting cadence, and escalation pathways
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering all phases of delivery
- Identify and manage project dependencies, risks, and constraints
- Track and manage project financials, ensuring delivery within agreed budget parameters
- Define and execute risk management strategies to proactively mitigate delivery issues
- Manage escalations and drive resolution of high\-priority challenges
- Collaborate closely with AI infrastructure architects, solution designers, engineering teams, and delivery specialists to support solution planning, technical design, implementation readiness, and customer deployment activities
- Support the transition of deployed systems into Managed Services and ongoing operational teams
- *Skills, Preferred experience:**
- 5\+ years project management experience in complex technical environments
- Proven experience delivering large\-scale AI infrastructure, accelerated compute, GPU cluster, or data centre infrastructure deployments
- Strong stakeholder and customer engagement skills
- Experience supporting bid management, proposal governance, delivery assurance, or pre\-sales project planning for complex infrastructure opportunities
- Ability to assess bid deliverability, challenge assumptions, identify commercial and operational risks, and translate proposal commitments into practical delivery plans
- Experience working with and project managing multi\-vendor, globally distributed teams
- Experience with GPU\-based AI platforms, accelerated compute environments, NVIDIA ecosystems, and AI infrastructure deployment models
- Familiarity with Hyperscale or CSP environments
- Experience of cluster deployment, validation, and benchmarking processes
- Exposure to data centre infrastructure (power, liquid and air cooling, networking)
- PMP / PRINCE2 certification
- Experience with Agile / hybrid delivery models
- Ability to coordinate and lead activities of small to large teams and interface constructively with AI infrastructure delivery stakeholders, including customers, internal specialists, and third\-party suppliers
- Professional writing, intended for status reports and project communications
- Advanced English communication (written, spoken) is required.
