Android App Developer

We are looking for a talented and passionate Android App Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high\-performance Android applications. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and backend developers to create user\-friendly and scalable mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third\-party libraries, and payment gateways.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and bugs.
• Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Conduct testing and ensure applications meet quality standards.
• Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
• Work with backend developers to integrate server\-side functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best development practices.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, Java, and Kotlin.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and third\-party integrations.
• Understanding of Material Design principles and Android UI guidelines.
• Familiarity with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Push Notifications, Analytics).
• Experience with Git version control.
• Knowledge of SQLite, Room Database, and local data storage.
• Understanding of mobile app security and performance optimization.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Knowledge of MVVM Architecture and Android Jetpack Components.
• Experience integrating payment gateways and social media APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of Google Maps, Location Services, and Push Notifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3\-5 years of experience in Android Application Development.
• Freshers with strong Android development projects may also apply.
