• *Devpratik Developers** is looking for an **Android Kotlin Developer** who has a strong understanding of programming fundamentals, Android development, and problem\-solving.

We are looking for someone who understands what they write, can explain their logic, debug their own code, and build Android applications without depending on AI tools to do the actual programming for them.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain **Android applications using Kotlin**.
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of **Kotlin syntax, functions, classes, collections, null safety, and object\-oriented programming**.
• Work with Android components, Activity and Fragment lifecycles, intents, layouts, and application architecture.
• Implement **REST API** integrations, handle JSON responses, and manage errors appropriately.
• Understand asynchronous programming using **Kotlin Coroutines**.
• Debug issues independently and explain the root cause of bugs.
• Use **Git** for version control and collaborate effectively with the team.
• Understand existing code before modifying it.
• Write code independently and use documentation and other learning resources responsibly.

Essential Skills and Requirements \- Candidates must have a practical understanding of the following:

• *Kotlin fundamentals**

• Variables, data types, operators, loops, and conditionals.
• Functions, classes, objects, constructors, and inheritance.
• Interfaces, abstract classes, and object\-oriented programming principles.
• Null safety, collections, lambdas, and higher\-order functions.
• Basic exception handling and debugging.

• Activity and Fragment lifecycles.

Our Technical Evaluation Process

We prioritize demonstrated ability over self\-reported experience.

Candidates must be able to explain their own code and reason through problems independently.

• *Important:** We are not looking for candidates who simply memorize answers or rely on AI tools to generate code they do not understand. AI tools may be useful in day\-to\-day development, but they cannot replace programming fundamentals.

Compensation and Probation

• **First month \- Evaluation/Probation Period:** ₹15,000 for the month.
• **Second month \- Evaluation/Probation Period:** ₹23,000 for the month.
• **After successful completion of probation:** Salary of ₹30,000 per month, subject to satisfactory performance and formal confirmation by the company.
• **Performance review:** During the probation, technical ability, code quality, learning speed, problem\-solving, reliability, and overall work performance will be evaluated.
• **Unsatisfactory performance:** If performance does not meet the communicated expectations, employment may be discontinued in accordance with the applicable employment terms and law.

The ₹30,000 salary applies after successful completion of the probation period. The applicable employment terms, review criteria, and confirmation process will be communicated clearly to the selected candidate.
