• *About the role**

The role of a senior is to ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial records, management accounts, VAT returns, Year\-end financial statements, Corporation Tax and other financial information for a range of clients, reporting directly to a Client Manager.

• *About the Accounting and Outsourcing Services Team**

Our Accounting and Outsourcing team works to support our clients to better run their finance functions, understand their financial position and performance, and to ensure they are compliant with changing accounting and tax legislation. With the relentless pace of technology change you will need to be able to advise clients in areas such as process and digitalisation, business performance, financial reporting and statutory financial statements and corporation tax, while building enduring relationships that positions Mazars as a trusted adviser. Our successful team of more than 250 professionals is growing across all areas including cloud accounting, payroll, financial reporting and company secretarial.

The SME Outsourcing \& Accounting team is a national team that works with a range of SME clients whether they are starting out, scaling up, well established or considering a potential exit.

• *What are we looking for?**

We are looking for exceptional candidates to join our team who demonstrate the following:

• Qualified CA / ACCA
• Have over 3 years’ experience in an accounting role, ideally with experience in an outsourced finance function, preparing management reporting, statutory Financial Statements, VAT returns and Corporation tax returns.
• Experience in balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience in working with owner managed businesses and actioning review points from management.
• Ability to independently manage workloads with strong time management skills
• Analytical skills; the ability to think critically, research and solve problems independently, as well as assist more junior members of the team on how to do this
• Attention to detail and able to self\-review work to a high standard
