• *JOB DESCRIPTION**
• *Job Summary:**

The **API Market Business Analyst** will support the API Business Unit by conducting market research, competitive intelligence, portfolio analysis \& pricing assessments. Role involves analysing global API market trends, identifying new business opportunities, supporting strategic decision\-making, and providing actionable insights to strengthen the company's competitive position in regulated and semi\-regulated markets.

• *Skills:** analytical mindset, strong data analytics skills, Presentation and communication skills, with flavour for sales and marketing is advantageous
• *Travel Estimate:** 20\-30% Domestic and International
• *Educational Qualification**: B.Pharm/M.Pharm or MBA
• *Experience:** 2\-4 years of Past experience in Pharmaceutical industry in similar profile will be desired

• *Areas of Responsibility:**
• *Business intelligence data Management and Analysis:**
• Data analysis and interpretation based on **IQVIA/IMS data, Import Export data, Other Industry reports and databases**. Should be able to do analysis of markets, top competitors, volume prices of Sun’s portfolio products and generate actionable insights – potential customer, market, prices etc.
• **Track competitor activities** including product/DMF registration, launches, pricing strategies. Competitor benchmarking reports and market opportunity assessments.
• Should be aware about therapeutic segments and molecules
• Should be proficient in excel. Should be able to generate reports in pivots. Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI would be advantage.
• Support preparation of business case to propose new products to develop

• *Product Portfolio Analysis**
• Evaluate API product performance across regions and customer segments.
• Analyze product demand, sales volume, market share, prices and growth trends based on secondary reports/database
• Support portfolio optimization through data\-driven recommendations.
• Support new product selection based on commercial attractiveness and market potential.
• Understanding of regulated and semi\-regulated pharmaceutical markets. Basic regulatory knowledge understanding (DMF/CEP), Patent and Exclusivity Landscape, ANDA/NDA developments knowledge will be added advantage
