Summary

As a SAP FI/CO Functional Tester, you will be responsible for validating finance business processes and ensuring quality delivery across SAP systems. The role involves end\-to\-end testing lifecycle participation, defect management, and collaboration with cross\-functional teams. You will leverage tools such as ALM and Jira for test management, execution tracking, and defect lifecycle management to ensure high system reliability and business continuity.

Roles \& Responsibilities

Perform end\-to\-end Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) activities including requirement analysis, test design, execution, and reporting.

Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, and regression test cases for SAP FI/CO modules.

Manage and track test cases and defects using ALM / Jira, ensuring traceability and timely closure.

Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, developers, and business users to validate finance workflows.

Perform defect triaging, root cause analysis, and retesting activities.

Prepare test documentation including test scenarios, test cases, RTM, and execution reports.

Support UAT cycles and ensure alignment with business requirements.

Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and team discussions.

Professional \& Technical Skills

Must Have: 5\+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO Functional Testing

Hands\-on experience in ALM (HP ALM / QC) and/or Jira for test and defect management

Strong understanding of SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) and CO processes

Experience in SIT, UAT, Regression Testing within SAP environments

Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.)

Additional Information

Minimum 5\+ years of relevant QA/testing experience in SAP Finance

Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

Education: Full\-time degree (15 years of education required)
