• *Role Overview**

We are looking for a talented **Applied AI Engineer** to join our growing team and take ownership of building and deploying AI/ML features across our platform. You will work closely with product, backend, and frontend teams to implement AI\-driven solutions that improve user experience, automate internal processes, and drive platform growth.

This role is ideal for a hands\-on engineer with experience turning AI models into real, scalable product features.

### **Key Responsibilities**

* Develop and deploy production\-ready AI/ML models for

+ Jewelry image classification and tagging

+ Price recommendation and valuation

+ Similarity search and duplicate detection

+ Fraud risk scoring and anomaly detection

• Work with the product team to define requirements and scope for AI\-driven features.

• Clean, process, and manage datasets (images, product metadata, pricing history).

• Use third\-party APIs (e.g., OpenAI, AWS Rekognition, Hugging Face) when appropriate to accelerate delivery.

• Integrate AI models into the GEMGEM Laravel \+ Nuxt 3 platform in collaboration with backend/frontend teams.

• Develop scalable AI code optimized for production environments and collaborate closely with DevOps teams to ensure solutions are performant and reliably deployed at scale.

• Continuously monitor and improve model accuracy, performance, and cost\-efficiency.

• Maintain documentation, version control, and reproducibility of model experiments.

### **Required Skills \& Qualifications**

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of hands\-on experience in applied machine learning or computer vision.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit\-learn.
• Strong understanding of model development, evaluation metrics, and deployment practices.
• Experience deploying models in production systems, not just research or offline analysis.
• Knowledge of API integration and basic data engineering concepts.

### **Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience in e\-commerce, C2C platforms, or image\-heavy applications.
• Familiarity with tools like LangChain, OpenAI APIs, and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Exposure to blockchain, smart contracts, or luxury product authentication is a plus.
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and Docker.
