*Applied AI Systems Builder** **Software Prototypes \| Automation \| Data Tools \| Internal Innovation Systems** **Location** Delhi\-NCR preferred Office\-first during initial evaluation Trial / contract\-to\-confirmation / full\-time based on performance **About the Organisation** We are a professional services and business operations organisation working on complex, document\-heavy, data\-heavy, and workflow\-heavy problems. We are building internal technology systems to improve execution, reduce repetitive manual work, structure information, support decision\-making, and create practical software utilities for different operational needs. The work involves a mix of software development, automation, data handling, workflow design, AI\-assisted tooling, dashboards, and controlled prototypes. The work is confidential and organisation\-controlled. **Role Summary** We are looking for an **Applied AI Systems Builder** — a practical developer who can take real\-world problems and convert them into working tools. This is not a narrow single\-product role. The selected candidate may work on different internal projects across multiple domains, including automation, data processing, document workflows, search utilities, dashboards, research support tools, AI\-assisted workflows, and internal software prototypes. The candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity, but disciplined in execution. We do not need someone who only writes code after receiving perfect specifications. We need someone who can understand a problem, ask the right questions, break it into modules, build a small working version, test it, document it, and improve it through feedback. **What You Will Work On** The actual assignments will be shared through written task briefs. Work may include projects in the following categories: **1\. Applied AI Utilities** Building controlled tools that use AI for limited, useful tasks such as: summarisation classification data extraction draft assistance structured output generation research support workflow suggestions review queues human\-approval\-based automation AI outputs must remain reviewable and controlled. No uncontrolled autonomous execution. **2\. Data Processing \& Matching Tools** Building utilities for: Excel/CSV processing record comparison data cleaning duplicate detection name/address matching fuzzy matching data enrichment confidence scoring source/evidence logging structured exports **3\. Document \& File Processing Systems** Building tools for: PDF upload OCR\-assisted extraction file indexing document classification document checklist systems template\-based output generation file\-to\-database workflows document search metadata capture **4\. Workflow \& Operations Applications** Building internal tools such as: task trackers workflow trackers case/project/matter trackers follow\-up systems status dashboards approval workflows staff allocation tools reminder systems reporting panels **5\. Web Apps, Dashboards \& Admin Panels** Building practical frontend/backend tools such as: forms tables filters dashboards charts reports role\-based access file uploads exports admin panels local database\-backed applications **6\. Automation \& Integrations** Building controlled integrations and automation such as: REST API integrations local backend services email/document workflows approved third\-party API integrations scripted automation local server deployment internal tool connectors controlled AI API integrations **What Kind of Person We Need** We are looking for a **builder**, not just a coder. The candidate should be able to: understand a real business problem convert rough requirements into a technical plan break work into small deliverables create MVPs quickly connect frontend, backend, and database handle files and data carefully use AI tools responsibly estimate effort and cost write clean enough code for handover test before calling work complete explain what they have built This role is suitable for someone who enjoys building different types of tools and prototypes across domains, instead of working only on one repetitive app. **Required Technical Skills** Practical working knowledge of: Python FastAPI / Flask / Django React / JavaScript / TypeScript HTML / CSS SQLite / PostgreSQL REST APIs Git or local version control Excel / CSV handling PDF / file handling file upload systems authentication / login systems basic dashboards debugging and testing local deployment API integrations **Good to Have** OCR LLM API integration Claude / OpenAI / Gemini / Copilot / Cursor or similar AI tools prompt engineering discipline data cleaning fuzzy matching search workflows automation scripting Docker basics Windows \+ WSL / Linux role\-based access control basic cybersecurity awareness workflow automation **AI Tool Usage Policy** AI tools may be used to improve productivity, but the candidate must remain responsible for the work. AI tools may be used for: coding assistance debugging UI generation data parsing logic test generation technical explanation prototype acceleration However, the candidate must be able to explain: which AI tool is being used why it is being used what files/data are being shared what output is expected whether any cost is involved what the cost cap is what can be done manually Strict conditions: No confidential data in external AI tools without written approval. No passwords, API keys, secrets, or private files in AI tools. No open\-ended token/API usage. No paid AI/API/cloud/server use without written approval. AI\-generated code must be reviewed, understood, tested, and handed over. Prompt/session history may be reviewed for project audit. **Confidentiality \& Ownership** The work may involve confidential business processes, internal methods, data structures, operational workflows, and prototypes. The candidate must agree that: * All code, scripts, prompts, workflows, automations, database structures, UI designs, documentation, and outputs created during the engagement belong exclusively to the organisation. * Work must be done only in organisation\-approved folders, repositories, systems, or devices. * No personal GitHub, personal cloud, personal server, or outside storage may be used without written approval. * No project material may be shared, reused, published, demonstrated, or disclosed externally. * No subcontracting or third\-party sharing is allowed. * Clean handover is mandatory for every milestone. * Paid tools, subscriptions, APIs, servers, or hardware cannot be requested without written justification, cost estimate, and approved deliverable. **Working Style Required** We need someone who is: disciplined curious quietly productive cost\-conscious confidentiality\-conscious technically practical comfortable with ambiguity able to work across domains able to break vague ideas into MVPs able to communicate clearly able to accept review and correction able to work in a structured office environment The candidate must be comfortable with: written task briefs milestone\-based delivery daily progress updates code handover setup instructions cost approval before paid tools confidentiality/IP terms office discipline **Initial Evaluation / Trial Assignment** The initial evaluation will involve one controlled assignment using dummy/sample data only. Possible trial assignments may include one of the following:…
