Job Description
The Sales Executive is responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new customers, nurturing existing client relationships, and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives. The role also involves developing a high\-performing sales team through on\-site coaching, field training, and performance monitoring to ensure consistent achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities1\. Sales \& Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through field visits, networking, and market research.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and demonstrations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to successfully close sales.
- Build and maintain long\-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Monitor competitor activities and market developments.
2\. On\-Site Training \& Development
- Deliver practical, hands\-on training during field visits.
- Train team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, and closing strategies.
- Demonstrate effective customer engagement in real\-time sales situations.
- Evaluate field performance and provide constructive feedback with improvement plans.
3\. Team Building \& Leadership
- Mentor and guide junior sales executives and field staff.
- Build and maintain a motivated, high\-performing sales team.
- Assign sales targets and monitor individual and team performance.
- Conduct regular review meetings to discuss achievements, challenges, and action plans.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance\-driven work environment.
4\. Market Analysis \& Business Insights
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.
- Identify emerging opportunities, pricing trends, and changes in customer demand.
- Provide management with regular reports on market opportunities, risks, and recommendations.
- Adjust sales strategies based on market intelligence and customer preferences.
5\. Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Resolve customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
6\. Reporting \& Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track sales performance and recommend process improvements.
