Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Job Description

Position Summary
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for driving sales and business development for Zincalume water storage tanks, industrial storage solutions, and grain storage silos within an assigned territory. The role focuses on expanding market presence, managing dealer and distributor networks, generating project\-based sales, and building long\-term relationships with customers in agriculture, infrastructure, industrial, and government sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Zincalume tanks and grain storage silos.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with industrial clients, EPC contractors, government agencies, NGOs, and agricultural organizations.
- Build and manage relationships with distributors, dealers, consultants, and channel partners.
- Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable storage solutions.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with engineering and estimation teams.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and quotation to negotiation and order closure.
- Coordinate with project execution and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and installation.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
- Participate in trade exhibitions, industry events, and customer seminars to promote products.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and customer records in the CRM system.
- Ensure timely payment collection and maintain healthy customer accounts.
- Support after\-sales service and resolve customer concerns promptly.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in water storage, steel structures, tanks, silos, construction materials, or capital equipment.
- Experience in B2B and project sales is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of tendering and institutional sales is an advantage.

- Zincalume or galvanized steel storage tanks

Pay: ₹16,004\.18 \- ₹51,493\.45 per month
