Job Description Title Asia Pacific Regional Security Lead

The role is client facing, and candidates must exhibit subject matter expertise in physical security, security systems, vendor management and operational security management. Overall Role Personal Profile This is an integral role that sits within the Asia Pacific Our Workplace Team and is the security subject matter expert (SME) for the region. The purpose of this position is to manage and deliver all relevant security contracts in the region for the account. The role is the vested Security SME for Our Workplace and will work closely with the client’s corporate security function. The Asia Pacific Regional Security Lead will manage the development and implementation of an effective security service delivery programme to mitigate risk in country for Our Workplace sites where security is in scope. You will be the Our Workplace security SME and provide operational security management and advice to the account. The role will also oversee the security systems administrator, a 3rd party embedded role based in Pune. The role reports directly into the Global Security Lead and indirectly to the Regional Account Director. The role will liaise with various stakeholders and provide governance and assurance of the in\-scope security program and assist the client’s regional corporate security team. The role's primary objectives will be to manage third party security contracts and their operational delivery, provide security guidance and advice, operational assurance and the delivery of KPIs and SLAs. The role addresses all aspects of physical and personnel security and security system management and technical support within the scope of the contract. You will oversee and assure the account that the security provision through Our Workplace is appropriately managed in the region. These services include but are not limited to staffed guarding, Access Control, CCTV, IDS systems and supporting infrastructure. You will ensure it is correctly delivered, managed and maintained. Duties \& responsibilities The role will provide the regional and country (India) management, oversight, assurance and a touch point for security and security system issues. As the security SME you will work collaboratively and in vested manner with the regional and country client corporate security roles. The role is the security SME and lead; the accountable person to manage and engage on a regular basis with the designated security staffed guarding provider(s), systems integrator(s) and maintenance service provider(s). You have a focus on delivering excellent service whilst also contributing positively to the regional account team. You will have worked in this environment in previous and existing security management roles. In doing so you will deliver a consistent level of service across the account in the region. You will be an upbeat individual with integrity and a can\-do attitude. A self\-starter who can work as part of a team and autonomously. Forward thinking and a positive relationship builder you will understand and live the ‘vested way’ working closely with the client’s regional corporate security team Our Workplace Site Leads. You will ensure that the approach to security is coordinated with the global account and appreciate sensitivities at a country and regional level can impact at the global level. • Ensure all account standards and values are applied in the management of thirdparty security contracts. • Assist the account Global Security Lead (JLL) and aid in the management and reduction of operational risks across the portfolio as the security SME by working closely with HSE, Business Continuity and Risk Management at all levels. • Provide technical advice on relevant security issues and communicate notifications of changes in legislation that will impact service delivery and/or the client. • Ensure a continued working knowledge of security related legislation (e.g. guarding services, biometric data, data privacy) ensuring regulatory and legal compliance. • Identify improvement opportunities and support the account team in identifying practical cost\-effective solutions and controls for risks. • Work with the appropriate client and contractor security managers to support crisis management planning, assist with the maintenance of Our Workplace site risk assessments and site security plans. • Provide governance and assurance of incident management and planning, and when directed conduct/oversee incident investigation and report accordingly. • Support account communication plans with relevant security input. • Ensure adherence to security governance and assurance of security plans and procedures. • Provide governance and assurance of relevant third\-party security contracts including the delivery of KPIs, SLAs, staffing and support to ad hoc client requests including high profile events. • Provide oversight and operational assurance through the Security Control Centre (SCC) of the operation and 24/7/365 monitoring of in scope technical security systems across Our Workplace sites, including Intruder Alarm Monitoring Systems, CCTV systems and Access Control Systems and operational response. • Provide support to the client’s technical security strategy project delivery. • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of regional security operational controls, (i.e. SOPs, processes, standards, procedures and guidelines) ensuring compliance with all account obligations. • Drive the development of best practice security training programs and resources. • Ensure all security contractors and vendors adhere to account safety requirements. • Manage tactful communications with all stakeholders and vendors to assure all parties are timely apprised of all security incidents and operational affairs. • Develop in\-country Our Workplace security policy, objectives, budgets, plans, procedures, and schedules. • Evaluate work standards and performance levels ensuring uniformity, effectiveness and appropriate staffing levels. Ensure that appropriate mitigations are in place or planned. • As directed manage security related regional projects and ensure key objectives are met. • Facilitate the development and implementation of training sessions that can be deployed cross Our workplace sites where security is in scope, to ensure organizational preparedness for a business resiliency or security related incident and promote employee awareness and engagement. • Respond to business resiliency related emergencies and support crisis management. • Participate in cross functional efforts with client security to provide thorough analysis of security risks and development of appropriate mitigating strategies. • Participation in the development of new facilities and facility renovations from a security standpoint, including security system installations. • Current knowledge/familiarity with emerging security technologies and practices. Explore and implement new security technologies that provide value to the business in line with the client security strategy. • Develop initiatives to stabilize compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and be knowledgeable of current trends in the security industry. • Security SME input to site\-specific business continuity plans. • Manage security personnel resources (partners and vendors), as appropriate to ensure the efficient and cost\-effective utilization of security resources. • Develop and maintain professional relationships with local and state security agencies, security peers, consultants and vendors. Regional \& Country Account Oversight, Management and Reporting • India Our Workplace account oversight and ‘ownership’ of the account security and security systems JLL manages. • Identify and manage security across the India account within scope and outside of it e.g. landlord provided and managed systems – support solutions to access necessary datawhere required e.g. visitor, lost and forgotten access cards as well as occupation data. • Be visibly engaged and well known in the workplace; always looking for opportunities to develop account relationships. • Be prepared to support ad hoc security requirements as required. Vendor Management • Oversee, support and manage the respective security contract(s) for the Our Workplace India sites. • Support engineering in ensuring security vendors deliver in accordance with SLAs. • Maintain vendor delivery and quality KPIs. • Support, where required, the selected client integrator contract(s). Candidate Qualifications Experience • Based in India with a minimum of 5 years security management and security systems experience within security operational structures and working with corporate clients. • Experience in leading operational security teams for an international business. • Experience of vendor contract management, governance and assurance of delivery of KPIs and SLAs. • Experience of Access Control Systems (ACS), CCTV, Intruder Detection Systems (IDS) in an operational environment. • Data management understanding, formulating and deploying processes effectively. • Practical working knowledge of up\-to\-date tools and techniques within a real estate environment and management of risk across a complex multi\-site property portfolio is desirable. • Significant practical experience of problem\-solving security issues in a dynamic/diverse environment. • An agile approach to leadership and stakeholder management \- able to operate effectively in a matrix structure. • Professional security qualifications desirable. • Experience in a corporate environment is essential. • Degree holder preferable. Hours of Operation o Based out of Pune. o The general working week is c. 40 hours. o Core business hours are 8am\-6pm Monday through Friday. o Ability and willingness to travel within the Asia Pacific region.
