As Assistant Director, Product Marketing you will be a player\-coach, leading a small but mighty product marketing team and supporting a broad range of product and GTM activities, including:* Product positioning and user segmentation

• Website user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
• Manage GTM playbooks, including cross\-channel messaging and collateral
• Act as primary business partner to our engineering and IT teams, including creation scope and requirements documents
• Refine and maintain brand identity and voice, across various channels and market segments
• Operate in an agile fashion based on a deep understanding of our learners, stakeholders and key business metrics

This is a high visibility, high impact role that will interact with all levels of EC\-Council leadership. The right person is naturally customer centric and thrives in a fast\- paced environment that requires strong technical and business judgment and excellent communication skills. This role is for someone with a proven ability to execute both strategically and tactically. **Responsibilities*** Within Marketing, collaborate with all the other teams, including: Content, CRM, SEO, Paid channel, social, events, B2B and others

• Across the organization, collaborate with Product (curriculum), PMO, technology, sales and other business units
• Represent Web Platforms in governance and architectural decisions related to the user experience
• Develop and propagate project management and tracking tools and methodologies that result in higher operational efficiency and faster implementation times
• Deliver clear, well\-supported product recommendations and strategic direction
• Track record of managing ambiguous, multi\-stakeholder roadmaps from vision through GA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; can distill complex platform trade\-offs for both technical and executive audiences.
• Familiarity with UI/UX best practices, usability testing, and interpreting user research to inform roadmap decisions and feature development
• Track record of building positive working relationships with engineering, UX design and teams outside of product development
• Passion for getting things done (and for things you haven't done, you are naturally curious, driven to learn, and unafraid to ask for help)
• Strong customer empathy and a curiosity\-driven approach to learning their needs.

Requirements* Track record of building products with strong revenue and market\-share growth

• Deep understanding of product marketing, including creation of user personas and messaging that focuses on user benefits, not product features
• 7\+ years of product marketing experience for a global user base, including customers in the United States
• 3\+ years of team leadership experience
• Technical fluency, including 2\+ years of technical (software development, field sales engineering, IT, other related) experience
• Fluent in English – both spoken and written
• A proven leader who can collaborate across every functional area
• Experience with the latest LLM’s and agentic AI, and their applications across the marketing stack
• Expert knowledge of web all analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
• BSc \& MBA
