• *Job Description:**

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead and execute a large\-scale data engineering migration project. The ideal candidate is a hands\-on technical leader who can bridge strategy and execution, actively contributing to deliverables while also managing timelines, stakeholders, and cross\-functional teams. You will play a key role in migrating legacy data infrastructure to modern cloud\-native platforms, ensuring data quality, pipeline reliability, and delivery excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

• *Responsibilities:**

• Lead end\-to\-end execution of the data engineering migration project, ensuring on\-time delivery across all phases.

• Hands\-on design, development, and optimization of data pipelines using Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Talend.

• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to define migration scope, approach, and success criteria.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve technical and operational blockers.

• Ensure data integrity, pipeline performance, and compliance standards are met during and after migration.

• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate workstreams across the team.

• Prepare status reports and present updates to project leads and senior management.

• Drive best practices in CI/CD, data governance, and cloud data architecture within the team.

• *Skills:**

• Technical expertise in Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse).

• Hands\-on development, testing, and deployment of data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Talend, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.

• Excellent Communication and Team Management Skills
