Assistant Manager - Design & Development

Duties \& Responsibilities

• Manage the team of engineers responsible for new product development.
• Prepare and monitor project plans for new product development.
• Review designs at multiple stages to ensure correctness, manufacturing feasibility, cost effectiveness, innovation, safety, adherence to design standards and user friendliness of the design.
• Review engineering drawings, engineering calculations, FEA analysis and other technical documentation related to the design.
• Maintain up\-to\-date knowledge of manufacturing processes, outsourced items and services data base within the organization.
• Coordinate prototype manufacturing in collaboration with other Production Engineers.Design activities in cross function team related to KAizen,CAPA etc
• Manage manpower within the team including hiring decisions, skill development, skill monitoring, timely reviews and counseling where required.

Educational Background

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher with a good academic record.

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000\.00 \- ₹1,400,000\.00 per year
