Role Overview
We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive **Assistant Manager – Finance** to manage end\-to\-end accounting operations, ensure timely monthly closures, and oversee accurate financial provisioning. The role requires strong analytical skills, compliance knowledge, and experience in handling finance operations within a fast\-paced logistics or EV ecosystem.
- *Key Responsibilities1\. Day\-to\-Day Accounting**
- Manage daily accounting transactions including AP, AR, and general ledger entries
- Ensure timely recording of invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries
- Monitor cash flow and bank transactions; perform regular bank reconciliations
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data in ERP/accounting systems
- Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Ensure all entries are recorded accurately before closure timelines
- Prepare trial balance, P\&L, and balance sheet schedules
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for closure requirements
- *3\. Monthly Provisioning**
- Prepare and review monthly provisions for expenses, liabilities, and accruals
- Ensure proper documentation and justification for all provisions
- Monitor reversals and adjustments in subsequent periods
- Align provisioning practices with accounting standards and company policies
- *4\. MIS \& Financial Analysis**
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and variance analysis
- Track operational costs, especially fleet, charging, and logistics expenses
- Provide insights to management for cost optimization and financial planning
Required Qualifications \& Skills
- B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, MBA (Finance) with relevant experience
- 8\-10 years of experience in accounting and finance (logistics/EV/startup experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Hands\-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle, etc.)
Pay: ₹600,000\.00 \- ₹800,000\.00 per year
