Assistant Manager - Procurement

• *Job Summary:**

We are looking for a Project Procurement Executive to manage end\-to\-end procurement activities for ongoing and upcoming projects. The role requires coordination with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely availability of materials and services while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with company policies.

• *Key Roles \& Responsibilities:**

Manage procurement activities for assigned projects as per approved BOQ and specifications

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to achieve best cost, quality, and delivery terms

Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and related documentation

Coordinate with project and execution teams to understand material requirements and timelines

Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to project sites

Track procurement status and follow up with vendors for dispatch and documentation

Ensure compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and company procurement policies

Coordinate with stores and logistics teams for material receipt and inspection

Support finance team with invoice verification, GRN, and payment\-related documentation

Maintain procurement trackers, MIS reports, and vendor performance records

• *Education :**

Graduate / Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, or Management

• *Experience:**

2–5 years of relevant experience in project procurement

Experience in EPC / Infrastructure / IT / Government or PSU projects preferred

Skills \& Competencies

Strong negotiation and vendor coordination skills

Good understanding of project procurement processes

Knowledge of purchase documentation and compliance requirements

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle / Zoho – preferred)

Good communication and follow\-up skills

Ability to work under tight timelines and handle multiple priorities

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Timely procurement and on\-time delivery

Cost optimization and savings achieved

Vendor performance and compliance

Accuracy and completeness of procurement documentation
