Qualification: B.E (Mechanical/ Electrical)

Reporting to Sr. Manager/ HOD

• *Note: Experience must be from the Wiring Harness only.**

• *JOB ROLE**

 Ensure that the production process runs smoothly, efficiently, and meets quality and safety standards.

 Responsible for managing the end\-to\-end production process of wiring harnesses.

 Train and develop plant operators and support staff to create effective teams and efficient production.

 Convert MKT team output into work orders and schedules to meet customer demands.

 Communicate with MKT to understand project priorities and schedule production

accordingly.

 product specifications and plant capacity data and determines the materials,

manufacturing process, equipment, and manpower requirement to perform the job. Also incorporates lead times for each activity to meet the shipping schedule.

 Review materials availability with stores periodically and coordinates with the procurement department to ensure availability of required materials as per the production schedule.

 Coordinates with subcontractors for timely receipt of materials as per specification.

 Addresses and resolves production issues, if any, to minimize delays in production. Expedites operational delays and reschedules plan to meet unforeseen circumstances.

 Provides the manpower requirement to the Human Resources department and ensures the availability of required manpower for production.

 Work with the Maintenance team to accommodate routine and annual maintenance activities.

 Ensure efficient production scheduling to achieve plant production targets.

 Identify opportunities for cost control and work to implement them with support from the Plant Head.

 Focus on ongoing process improvement. Ensure production is carried out according to high\-quality standards set forth by the company.

 Always promote a safe working environment.

 Manage collection and reporting of production data, KPI’s etc. to support routine dashboards and special reports as required by Plant Head.

 Updates all relevant departments of changes to the current production schedule, if any to prioritize their activity based on the current schedule.

 Works closely with the engineering department to understand the orders in the pipeline and plan production schedule proactively.

 Apprises QC department of nearing completion status to schedule the final inspection.

 Ensure all products meet customer standards and specifications.

 Ensure all manufacturing process as per ISO, IATF \& IPC standards.

 Perform audits, identify issues and drive continuous improvement in production processes.

 Lead and manage production teams, including supervisors, assemblers, and technicians.

 Provide training and guidance to staff on wiring harness assembly techniques, safety standards, and company policies.

 Promote teamwork and collaboration among different departments.

 Inventory management of raw materials, components, and finished products.

 Ensure optimal utilization of resources, minimizing waste, downtime, and inefficiencies.

 Coordinate with the purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

 Ensure all production activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.  Monitor and enforce safety protocols on the production floor to maintain a safe working environment.

 Investigate and resolve safety incidents, ensuring proper reporting and corrective actions.

 Implement lean manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

 Analyse production data and identify areas for improvement in cycle time, cost efficiency, and quality.

 Ensure that, the wages should be achieved as per the budget data.

 Regular production reports to Plant head on performance metrics, challenges, and progress.

REQUIRED SKILLS

 Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.

 Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.

 Good communication and training skills.

 Ability to work with heavy equipment.

IT SKILLS

 SAP Knowledge added an advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000\.00 \- ₹70,000\.00 per month
