ob Summary
We are looking for a results\-driven Assistant Sales Manager to support the Sales Manager in achieving business targets, expanding the customer base, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role involves managing sales activities, leading the sales team, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and client visits.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Support and guide the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and negotiate contracts with customers.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Coordinate with marketing, operations, and customer support teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for clients when required.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure prompt issue resolution.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- MBA in Sales/Marketing is preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience in sales, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team\-leading role.
Required Skills
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Analytical and problem\-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
