The Country Assistant Tax Manager (ATM) is responsible for assisting the Tax Manager in specific areas of tax reporting, tax compliance and implementation of tax plans. The role will be to assist the Country\-ATM with the tax function majorly in In Direct Taxes. The role will also require working knowledge of International Taxes. Good to have experience in statutory audit with working experience in SAP. You will play a key role in managing all tax related issues for the global organization. - Support tax provisions and tax reporting processes, including ETR report, FP8, FP6, etc.
- Develop procedures to improve compliance and reporting processes.
- Review intercompany agreements and supporting documentation.
- Support the GeoMarket on preparing transfer pricing documentation.
- Support field tax audits as required.
- Assist the Tax Manager on special projects.

- Support tax provisions, corporate tax compliance, transfer pricing compliance processes.
- Develop procedures to improve compliance and reporting processes.
- Support on preparing transfer pricing documentation.
- Support field tax audits as required.
- Assist the Tax Manager on special projects.
- Prepare and assist in filing corporate tax returns, withholding tax returns and other filings pertaining to direct taxes
- Prepare/review submissions and supporting documents for assessments/tax audits undertaken by the tax office.
- Review and maintain repository of tax documents such as TRC, No PE certificate and Form 10F of international vendors.
- Support in preparing segmental for TP study and related compliances.
- Prepare and assist in internal management reports (FP8, CbC, BS notes), including consolidation and review prior to submission to Country including tax provisioning and maintaining tax accounts
- Audit support for statutory fiscal accounts to meet filing deadlines including tax audits; liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Identify and deliver continuous process improvements; support and implement automation.
- Achieve operational effectiveness targets set for controls and identify control improvements.
- Liaising with consultants and legal counsel for advisory and litigation matters
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Capable of working in groups as well as independently.
- Professional management of employee relationships at all levels.
- Team player with an enthusiastic approach to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Qualified CA
- Prior experience in team/ people management (manage team of 2\-3 members)
- Minimum 6\-8 years post\-qualification experience in similar positions or relevant role
- Candidate should have experience in handling e.g. Corporate tax, international tax, assessment submissions, litigation replies, etc
- Candidate may have experience of working with SAP ERP
