  • *Educational Qualification:**

Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in any branch of Engineering from a recognized University / AICTE\-approved Institution.

OR

Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in any branch of Engineering with MBA (HR/Marketing/Operations) from a recognized University.

OR

Master's Degree (M.E./M.Tech.) in any branch of Engineering from a recognized University.

  • *Work Experience:**

Minimum two years of experience in Training \& Placement, Corporate Relations, Human Resource Recruitment, Academic Administration, Student Development, Event Coordination, or related functions in Industry / Educational Institutions.

Preference will be given to candidates having relevant experience in coordinating Training \& Placement activities in Engineering Colleges, Universities, Autonomous Institutions, Corporate Organizations, Recruitment Agencies, or Industries.

Fresh candidates possessing excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and aptitude for corporate interaction and student mentor

  • *Job Description:**

The Assistant Training and Placement Coordinator shall assist the Training and Placement Officer in coordinating student training, internship, placement, industry interaction, and employability enhancement activities of the School of Technology Management and Engineering. The incumbent shall serve as a liaison among students, faculty members, recruiters, alumni, and industries to facilitate effective implementation of Training \& Placement initiatives.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating campus recruitment drives, internship programmes, placement activities, and recruitment schedules.
  • Coordinate student registration for placement activities and maintain updated student profiles, resumes, and placement eligibility records.
  • Assist in organizing training programmes on aptitude, technical skills, communication skills, personality development, soft skills, resume writing, group discussions, and interview preparation.
  • Coordinate with recruiters, industries, HR professionals, and corporate organizations for campus recruitment, internships, industrial visits, live projects, and expert lectures.
  • Maintain and update records relating to:

+ Student Placement Database

+ Internship Records

+ Recruiter Database

+ Company Contact Details

+ Placement Statistics

+ Student Training Records

+ Alumni Placement Information

+ Employer Feedback

  • Coordinate Pre\-Placement Talks (PPTs), campus interviews, aptitude tests, technical assessments, group discussions, and interview schedules.
  • Assist in preparing placement brochures, recruiter presentations, annual placement reports, departmental reports, and documentation required for NAAC, NBA, AICTE, NIRF, and University authorities.
  • Coordinate Industrial Visits, Industry\-Academia Interaction Programmes, Guest Lectures, Career Guidance Sessions, Workshops, Entrepreneurship Development Programmes, and Skill Development Initiatives.
  • Guide students in resume preparation, interview etiquette, professional communication, career planning, internship opportunities, and placement readiness.
  • Coordinate with academic departments, faculty coordinators, students, and administrative offices to ensure smooth execution of Training \& Placement activities.
  • Maintain official correspondence with recruiters, industries, alumni, and external organizations regarding placement and internship activities.
  • Assist in updating the Training \& Placement Cell website, placement portal, ERP, social media platforms, and other communication channels.
  • Collect, compile, analyze, and prepare placement\-related data, statistical reports, employer feedback, and placement performance reports for institutional and statutory purposes.
  • Assist in organizing Placement Committee meetings, recruiter visits, employer engagement activities, and alumni networking programmes.
  • Ensure proper maintenance, confidentiality, and security of placement records, student information, recruiter databases, and official documents.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Training and Placement Officer, Dean, Principal, Director, or Competent Authority in the interest of the School and the University.
