Job Description
The Associate Customer Care Team Leader role is intended as a mid/senior\-career\-level mostly operational position, in pipeline to become a Customer Care Manager, in Hempel’s Customer Care organization.

The responsibilities and tasks of the Associate Customer Care Team Leader include, but are not limited to:
- Managing large/complex customer inquiries, incl. order placement, tracking, delivery status updates, product information and more
- Prioritizing customer PO’s and coordinating supply
- Handling customer complaints
- Provide guidance to junior colleagues
- Participate in internal strategic projects
- Support and act as back up for line manager in Customer Care
Daily operational tasks
- End to end cross\-border sales order management in the ERP system, incl facilitation of on\-time delivery, product substitutions and invoicing
- End\-to\-end return order management
- Outbound and inbound customer communication
- Resolve customer complaints
- Customer data management
- Conduct training sessions
- Support colleagues with task management and prioritization
- Support the customers with onboarding and related training to relevant digital tools
Additional non\-operational tasks
- Ensuring that a safe and healthy work environment exists by adhering to company health, safety and environment policies
- Ensure the upholding of local and global compliance rules, when handling orders
- Any general task and/or activity as is required and related to the above functions in accordance with the business requirements of the company
- *What Are We Looking For?**
- University / bachelor's degree in a relevant field and equivalent experience
- Minimum 3\+ years of experience in a customer care role
- Proficient experience in standard operating procedures
- Proficient with standard MS Office programs
- Working efficiency (written and spoken) in local language and English
- Strong problem\-solving and decision\-making abilities
- Proficient in using ERP software (Microsoft preferred) and other relevant tools
- Willingness to train colleagues
