Associate Engineer Technical Writing

• *What success looks like in this role:**

• Gains familiarity with Technical Writing concepts, practices tools and methodologies.
• With guidance, writes and maintains documentation for routine or moderately complex products and features; specific duties may include:

o Collaborating with product, engineering, service delivery and other technical staff to acquire product and feature information,

o Researching and translating technical information into manuals and/or web\-based documents,

o Taking complex technical information and simplifying it for colleagues and customers with nontechnical backgrounds,

o Writing, editing and proofing hardcopy and online documents for accuracy and consistency,

o Ensuring all deliverables are technically and operationally accurate, and

o Creating detailed and precise, step\-by\-step instructions that are easy to follow.

• Learns products and product domains through study of reference materials and interaction with subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Learns and adheres to Unisys terminology and style guidelines.
• Learns and ensures consistency with brand guidelines.
• Works on special projects as assigned.

• *You will be successful in this role if you have:**

BA/BS degree and 0\-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
