Associate Full Stack Engineer

• *Role Summary**

We are looking for an Associate Full Stack Engineer with strong programming fundamentals, curiosity, and a practical interest in AI\-assisted software development. The role is suitable for a recent graduate or early\-career engineer who has built real projects using modern web technologies and wants to grow into a full\-stack product engineer.The candidate should be comfortable learning across frontend, ackend, database, testing, and deployment areas. They should also be willing to use AI coding agents responsibly as part of day\-to\[1]day software development while validating generated output through tests, reviews, and clear reasoning.

• *Key Responsibilities**

Build and maintain application features under guidance across frontend, backend, database, and test layers.

Develop UI components and workflows using React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS.

Contribute backend functionality using Python and Django, including APIs, models, validations, and business logic.

Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and learn effective data modeling and query practices.

Write and maintain automated tests, including unit, component, API, integration, and end\-to\-end tests.

Use AI coding agents for code generation, test writing, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and understanding unfamiliar code.

Follow spec\-driven development practices by translating requirements into tasks, implementation notes, acceptance criteria, and validation steps.

Assist in creating AI\-agent development harnesses such as reusable prompts, mock data, context files, test fixtures, workflow checklists, and regression scenarios.

Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

Learn and contribute to asynchronous job processing, background workers, orchestration workflows, and deployment practices.

Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver reliable, maintainable software.

Responsibilities

• *Required Skills**

1 to 3 year of software engineering experience through employment, internship, academic projects, open\-source work, or strong portfolio projects.

Good programming fundamentals in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.

Working knowledge of React or Next.js.

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and a modern styling framework such as Tailwind CSS.

Basic understanding of REST \& GraphQL API concepts.

Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.

Familiarity with Git\-based development workflows.

Demonstrable hands\-on use of AI coding agents such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex\-style tools, or similar.

Ability to write clear prompts, inspect generated code, debug failures, and improve AI\-generated output.

Basic understanding of automated testing and willingness to write tests as part of normal development.

Strong learning mindset, attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a structured engineering process.

Qualifications

• *Preferred Skills**

Exposure to Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, or Airflow.

Exposure to Playwright, React Testing Library, Pytest, or similar testing tools.

Experience building small full\-stack applications with authentication, dashboards, file uploads, background jobs, or reporting views.

Familiarity with spec\-driven development, test\-driven development, design docs, or acceptance criteria\-based delivery.

Interest in AI\-assisted software engineering, agent workflows, prompt engineering, and development automation.

Basic understanding of CI/CD, cloud\-native development, or deployment workflows.

The associate engineer should be able to deliver well\-scoped frontend and backend tasks, write useful tests, follow specs and implementation plans, use AI coding agents responsibly, and grow toward

independent ownership of smaller full\-stack features
