The Associate Manager – Quality Assurance will be responsible for ensuring that all stainless steel long products (wire rods and rebars) meet Jindal Stainless Limited’s stringent quality standards and customer specifications. The role involves process control, analytical evaluation, and coordination with production and customers to ensure adherence to technical and quality requirements.**Key Responsibilities*** Lead **testing and certification** activities for stainless steel wire rods and rebars to ensure compliance with product and customer standards.

• Monitor and manage **process control parameters** across all quality checkpoints for long product manufacturing.
• **Collect, interpret, and analyze** process data using analytical tools to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to ensure that **customer technical requirements** are clearly understood and implemented in production and quality processes.
• Apply and promote the use of **Statistical Process Control (SPC)** and **Statistical Quality Control (SQC)** techniques for process stability and capability enhancement.
• Support continual improvement initiatives through root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and process optimization.
• Maintain documentation and records in alignment with ISO and other relevant quality management systems.

• *Qualifications \& Experience*** **Education:** B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgy, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• **Experience:** 5–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in the **steel or metal manufacturing industry**, preferably in long products.
• **Technical Expertise:** Strong understanding of metallurgical testing, process control, and statistical analysis tools (SPC/SQC).

• *Key Skills*** Proficiency in process control and analytical tools
• Strong understanding of stainless steel manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of national and international standards (IS/ASTM/EN)
• Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills
