Associate Software Engineer

The IT Front End Software Engineer is responsible for developing the front end of a web application, i. e. the visual elements that users see and interact with.

• Build sophisticated and elegant user interfaces.
• Collaborate with user experience and visual designers, developers and product owners to implement scalable and interactive applications.
• Keep abreast of novel technical concepts and markets.
• Provide technical leadership and documentation to developers and stakeholders.
• Apply usability procedures and principles as defined at the project or Product Line level or through customer input.
• Build prototypes, products and systems that meet the project quality standards and requirements.
• Contribute to and supports re\-use through common components that are well documented and tested.
• Interact and engage with customers, users, Product Managers and Technical Architects to understand needs and increase the positive impact on users’ experience.

Essential qualifications* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or other

• 0–1 year of experience, internship experience, or academic project exposure in frontend/web application development.

Key competencies* Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6\+), and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with modern frontend framework such as Angular and/or React through projects, internships, or coursework.
• Basic understanding of Node.js, npm, and frontend build tools.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and frontend integration with .NET Core Web APIs.
• Understanding of responsive web design, cross\-browser compatibility, and web accessibility principles.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps for version control and collaboration.
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Exposure to unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or React Testing Library is a plus.
• Exposure to state management concepts such as RxJS, Redux, or Context API is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure is a plus.

• Comfortable working with cross\-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and confident in presenting ideas, updates, and solutions.
