The Assistant Manager of Controllership is responsible for the complete end-to-end accounting, internal control, and compliance function for designated high-risk or manufacturing/non-manufacturing entities. This role ensures all entities adhere to US GAAP and Honeywell's corporate policies. The manager owns and coordinates the full accounting and control cycle, including period-end closing activities, and is tasked with delivering the standard month-end close timetable while maintaining entity-wide compliance. A key duty involves troubleshooting system issues during the close, identifying root causes, and implementing timely resolutions. The position requires a strong working knowledge of technical accounting areas such as project accounting, revenue recognition, cost accounting, assessments, distributions, and COPA cycles. Additionally, the role ensures all foreign currency transactions, including hedging activities and translation adjustments, are recorded accurately and appropriately.
