Role Description
The Audit \& Finance Executive is a full\-time, on\-site role based in Calicut. The role involves managing accounting, bookkeeping, audit, and financial reporting activities for the firm and its clients.
The executive will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, recording financial transactions, reconciling bank and ledger accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring that client records are complete and up to date. The role also includes conducting internal and client audits, reviewing supporting documents, identifying discrepancies or compliance gaps, and recommending corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day\-to\-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for multiple clients.
- Record and review purchases, sales, receipts, payments, journal entries, and other financial transactions.
- Maintain ledgers, supporting documents, and accurate financial records.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash\-flow statements, and management reports.
- Assist in internal audits, statutory audits, tax audits, and other client assignments.
- Verify invoices, vouchers, expenses, payroll records, and supporting documentation.
- Identify accounting errors, control weaknesses, compliance gaps, and potential financial risks.
- Support GST, TDS, income\-tax, payroll, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash\-flow monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with clients to collect financial information, resolve queries, and complete assignments within agreed timelines.
- Work closely with auditors, tax consultants, company secretaries, and other external professionals.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of client financial information.
- Support the preparation of reports and financial insights for clients and management.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA Intermediate with Articleship experience can also apply.
- Relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, or taxation.
- Working knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, Excel, or similar accounting software.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
- Good analytical, organisational, and problem\-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Team management experience.

Pay: From ₹15,000\.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate
