Australian Tax Accountant (BAS & Tax Preparation Specialist)

The Australian Tax Accountant (BAS \& Tax Preparation Specialist) is a full\-time, on\-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves preparing and reviewing Australian BAS and tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with relevant Australian tax laws and regulations. The specialist will manage accounting records, reconcile financial data, and prepare financial statements to support accurate tax reporting. Daily responsibilities include liaising with clients for required documentation, analyzing financial information, identifying tax issues or opportunities, and maintaining up\-to\-date knowledge of Australian tax legislation and compliance requirements. The role also includes collaborating with internal team members to improve tax processes and ensure timely submissions.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Tax Compliance and Tax Preparation, with specific experience in Australian BAS and income tax.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Tax and related Australian tax regulations affecting individuals and businesses.
• Candidates should possess the ability to prepare, interpret, and analyze Financial Statements to support accurate tax filings.
• Candidates should possess foundational and advanced Accounting skills, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Experience working with Australian accounting and tax software is beneficial.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast\-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams in a multicultural setting.

Pay: ₹50,000\.00 \- ₹60,000\.00 per month
