About the Role
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD 2D Designer with experience in landscape planning, site analysis, and project coordination. The candidate will be responsible for preparing site plans, design drawings, BOQs/BOMs, cost estimates, and supporting project execution from concept to construction.
Key Responsibilities1\. Site Analysis \& Evaluation
- Conduct site analysis and assessment.
- Evaluate climate, soil conditions, drainage systems, and topography.
- Collect and interpret site data for design development.
- Coordinate with surveyors, consultants, and project teams.
2\. Design \& Planning
- Prepare 2D and basic 3D design representations.
- Develop site layouts, landscape plans, and construction drawings.
- Create detailed plans using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and BIM tools.
- Ensure designs comply with project requirements and local regulations.
3\. Project Management \& Coordination
- Prepare project cost estimates.
- Develop and maintain BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and BOM (Bill of Materials).
- Monitor project progress and support execution teams.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Assist in construction documentation and project reporting.
4\. Technical Documentation
- Prepare detailed construction drawings.
- Maintain design revisions and project records.
- Ensure drawing accuracy and quality standards.
Required QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in landscape design, site planning, or architectural drafting.
- Experience in site evaluation and project coordination.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Working knowledge of SketchUp.
- Knowledge of BIM software (Revit or equivalent preferred).
- Understanding of site planning, grading, drainage, and topography.
- Experience preparing BOQ/BOM and cost estimates.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Strong communication and client\-handling skills.
- Good project coordination and documentation abilities.
