Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Draftsman / Design Engineer with experience in Fire Fighting \& MEP systems to prepare detailed drawings, layouts, BOQs, and hydraulic calculations for fire protection projects. The candidate should have hands\-on experience in AutoCAD and knowledge of NFPA, NBC, and IS standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare AutoCAD drawings for

Hydrant Systems

Sprinkler Systems

Hose Reel Systems

Pump Rooms

Fire Alarm Systems

Gas Suppression Systems

Develop fire protection layouts, schematic diagrams, and isometric drawings.

Perform hydraulic calculations for pressure, flow, head loss, and pump capacity.

Prepare BOQ and material quantity take\-offs.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, and site/project teams.

Prepare as\-built drawings and revision documentation.

Ensure compliance with NFPA, NBC, IS 15105, IS 13039, IS 15325 standards.

Support tendering and estimation activities with technical inputs.

Visit sites for verification and data collection when required.

Required Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D mandatory, basic 3D preferred)

Knowledge of fire protection systems and codes

Understanding of MEP coordination

Good communication and documentation skills

Ability to handle projects independently

Preferred Software Knowledge

AutoCAD

Revit MEP / Navisworks (added advantage)

MS Office

Hydraulic calculation tools

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field

2–3 Years (Fire Fighting / MEP Industry Preferred)
